I was published in a women’s magazine!

And not just any women’s magazine, THE biggest women’s magazine in Ireland! Woman’s Way published a story of mine that you can read here.

White Feathers

Yes, I know, they spelt my name wrong, but it’s the thought that counts. John Constable kindly loaned the painting.

I used to do lots of things I didn't much enjoy. Now I am officially a writer. It's what I always wanted to be.

    1. Thank you, Jacqueline. It’s one of those situations that could be suicidal. I’ve written enough of those lately; this one has a happy end instead. Glad you approve!

    1. I’m glad you liked the story, Sue. I tweaked it a bit to make it ‘suitable’ for the magazine, but I don’t think it’s any the worse for it. Maybe there’ll be a next time. Next time I’m feeling romantic I’ll take notes ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Thanks so much, Anita! I don’t write romance, but romantic things do happen, and they are usually subtle rather than the overblown histrionics that get into fiction but not necessarily real life.

      1. There’s nothing like being published in a magazine Jane, it has a certain appeal about it. ๐Ÿ™‚

      2. What I’m most pleased about is that it isn’t a literary journal, it’s a magazine, intended to be accessible to anyone. If they took a story I wrote, it means I can write to please a broader range of readers than I thought.
