She thought marriage would satisfy her longings, that love would replace her dreams, but bars have grown where rainbows soared, and love has become a cage.

Sad and morbid Jane…
It’s the common thread in about a million novels, and most of the great ones 🙂
True but still sad.
I think this is my favorite one-sentence story you’ve written so far.
It’s a theme that never goes out of fashion, unfortunately.
Ah… so sad!
Yup.
Will you sell me a little of your talent Jane. You obviously have so much that you won’t miss a little.

That’s a lovely compliment, David, but I’m sure you could do this just as well as me. It’s the twitter poetry that helps—concentrates the mind wonderfully 🙂
Reblogged this on georgeforfun.
Thanks for the reblogs George 🙂
My pleasure indeed Wishing you a wonderful day and weekend filled with happiness, joy, and smiles.
❤ (๑̀ ͜ʖ๑́) <3.
Much of the same to you too 🙂
What a classic Jane.
Unfortunately 😦
I love how you can paint an entire picture in a single sentence. 🙂
Thanks Kate. You should try it. I’m getting a lot of fun out of this exercise 🙂
Sounds like fun. Maybe if I ever finish my wrestling match with my Createspace files. *sigh*
Oh, to do fun things like write!
I HATE Createspace. If they played by their own rules it would be simple, but they don’t. You get the stuff correct to the nearest millimeter and Creatspace sticks the stuff, images, text whatever a centimeter out of true.
Yeah, I learned that I’m better off uploading a straight pdf, which is still a pain. My big problem, though, is that their file size limit is 40 mb but the quality needs to be in excess of 300 dpi… which is a fine line to walk as far as I can figure out. So I spend ages trying to get the files to meet those specs. If it was just designing the cover, I’d be good. And then every time I think I’ve figured out the secret to it all… that secret doesn’t work on the next one!
*disclaimer: I probably just don’t know what I’m doing. I make it up as I go along. :p
I do the pdf file and in theory it always fits the createspace measurements exactly. Creatspace always seems to have other ideas though…
Yeah, I know what you mean.
