3 Days 3 Quotes Challenge: Day 2

Second day of the challenge sent to me by Emily of Emily’s Thoughts blog, and second quote. I have to choose one from one of the most quotable personalities ever, Oscar Wilde. This is one of my favourites.

We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.

Today, I’m passing the challenge on to Ali Isaac.

I used to do lots of things I didn't much enjoy. Now I am officially a writer. It's what I always wanted to be.

  1. Fab! I love that quote! That’s what I call inspiring! Thanks for tagging me, got something for next week now, lol! What are the rules?

      1. Definitely. I started re-reading “A Portrait of Dorian Grey” recently. I read books with my pen at hand and underline the pearls. Some books come out with barely a mark but That one was well marked. Must get back to it xx Rowena

  2. It´s in the eye of the beholder! What we look at and what we take in defines us in a way. Oscar Wilde changed our point of view in ordinary and visionary things. Glad, you bring him alongside Shakespeare, Jane!

      1. When I read his “De Profundis” I knew whatever anybody says about him would not matter to me, he is one of my favourite writers, a special person.
