Naples, Italy; seducing and fascinating me

Absolutely stunning collage of photos.

a love letter to rome

Sorrento, Capri, and Napoli… The dreamlike beauties and chaotic back alleys of the Campania… Southern Italy… Always I hear the sirens call. Ruins, art, the pastoral by the sea, sweeping views, intense, looming cities and everything in between.
There were some days I had to dedicate to love and experience (so I took spontaneous shots with my iPhone) because if I don’t check myself I live, sleep, eat & breathe my cameras and film. (And men like attention sometimes)

I used to do lots of things I didn't much enjoy. Now I am officially a writer. It's what I always wanted to be.

  1. My grandparents were from Naples so Italy hold a special place in my heart. My husband is Sicilian and we visited his family there for about a month. Italy to me is loving people, great food and pastry’s and love of life.
I had such a wonderful experience I wrote my book; “The Italian Thing.”

Your photo’s bring back fond memories. :o)

    1. I’m glad! I have no Italian blood but strong ties of affection. We toyed with the idea of taking a chance on Rome when we left university, but despite being promised jobs, we came to France instead. It seemed safer at the time 🙂
