I don’t wish

Practicing shadorma: six lines 3/5/3/3/7/5 syllables.

I don’t wish

that everyone’s dreams,

each daft whim,

will come true.

To be perfectly honest,

some dreams are such crap.

I used to do lots of things I didn't much enjoy. Now I am officially a writer. It's what I always wanted to be.

      1. I am grouchy in the mornings. My hubby and I were just discussing this this am and how he avoids me in the mornings. Maybe it’s because of his snoring? Yeah didn’t think of that one, did he? Grouchy… me???

      2. I don’t speak in the mornings. Can’t smell anything or taste much. Husband makes the breakfast and shows sympathy. He doesn’t expect much more than glassy-eyed silence. It’s not his fault. Usually.

    1. It was seeing yet another of those sparkly messages with pink flashing lights in my twitter feed, wishing all kinds of wonderfulness on the whole of mankind. When people wish to be able to jet around (and destroy) all the unspoilt, mysterious places of the planet, or to give all their kids quad bikes, or have a unique cat with blue ears and pink fur genetically modified to never have to defecate, I have to say, no!
