NaPoWriMo: Where go the clouds

This is a triolet version of Monday’s cleave poem.

Where go the clouds that sail in the sky,

Blown in the wind and over the hill?

Where do the tears go that we cry?

Where go the clouds that sail in the sky,

Is there peace there, should it matter why?

The answer is that I love you still,

Where go the clouds that float in the sky,

Blown in the wind and over the hill.

I used to do lots of things I didn't much enjoy. Now I am officially a writer. It's what I always wanted to be.

    1. I’m glad you liked this, Merril. The sky is always there, whatever happens to us, whatever we do. Watching the clouds is soothing and despairing at the same time.
