Lone gull

Spring breeze sailing

Between sky and water

Laughter echoes, green waves rolling

Sea song.

I used to do lots of things I didn't much enjoy. Now I am officially a writer. It's what I always wanted to be.

    1. I love these critters. Ever since I learnt that in French they’re called Laughing Gulls, I’ve listened to them differently. They’re definitely not the B52 type of gulls I associate with seafronts and creepy films.

      1. Lol! Do they really sound like they’re laughing? I don’t see gulls anymore since I moved inland, but when I went to the UK at easter to visit my mum, I was really struck by their presence and their cries, and realised I had missed them!
