Blossom drifts,

Feather-light,

Caught in the breeze.

Hold tight,

Life flees,

Into yawning rifts,

Breathing shifts.

    1. It may be my imagination but it seems to happen every year that the wisteria and the roses get battered by freak rainstorms throughout their flowering period.
