Haiku challenge: Lightning & Rain

A trilogy of haiku for Ronovan’s challenge

Storm winds, clouds banking,

lightning flickers, thunder cracks

blissful rain cascades.

Like lightning the words

flash and are gone, striking sparks,

like rain fall the tears.

Face to the cold rain

pouring like cloud tears brimming

waiting for lightning.

I used to do lots of things I didn't much enjoy. Now I am officially a writer. It's what I always wanted to be.

  1. Very nice the way you got three such different haiku from the prompt.
I think I like the second one the best, but the third one makes me think of a Japanese print we have.
