Snow calls

A cascade poem for my own poetry challenge.

Arkady Rylov_Blue_Expanse.jpg

Snow calls to snow,

Across the aerial wastes of sky,

Where clouds murmur to the ice fields.

A voice in the wind,

A spark flying from the north,

Snow calls to snow.

Unfailing wings, tossing sunbeams,

Beat with profound and arcane wisdom

Across the aerial wastes of sky.

Snow geese sing of home,

Splintering the crystalline air,

Where clouds murmur to the ice fields.

I used to do lots of things I didn't much enjoy. Now I am officially a writer. It's what I always wanted to be.
