The Daily Post prompt is: Sidewalk

Step by /step echoes on the flags
Head bent low /rain spits in the wind
So it’s hard to see /how the raised face glistens!
The outstretched hand /and the soft voice pleading
Harden your heart /for there is hope in a smile
When the rain turns to tears /to give is to care
Walk on by /and the sun comes out.
You finally got another cleave poem done. Nicely done! (And poignant–the photo, too.)
God but they are difficult!
Difficult, but fun. 🙂
Like Rubik’s cube.
Reblogged this on O LADO ESCURO DA LUA.
Cleave poem is hard. You did a wonderful job for the prompt. V shaped by the legs was an appropriate prompt for a cleave poem.
It is hard, especially getting the two halves to be opposites. Glad you think it worked 🙂
It did.
