Snippets and Fooling Yourself

If I had an office I’d have these two mottos framed and hung on the wall.

I used to do lots of things I didn't much enjoy. Now I am officially a writer. It's what I always wanted to be.

      1. I like doing them. Makes me see and think things I would not otherwise, seeing the words arranging themselves in front of me. Like the print collaborates in prompting me, I don’t go poking around in my brain for a thought hoping something is making sense in there.

      2. Yes. I arrange the words in groups that seem to go together, theme, subject, or sometimes I am not sure, they just look right together, and suddenly something forms, and then I look among the others to see if anyone wants to join in, and next thing you know, a snippet, or a poem. Time passes very quickly doing these!
