Together used to mean

The Daily Post prompt is: together

4 T

Together used to mean we two,

The couple who

Were set in stone,

Don’t even phone.

Together we’d stroll through the crowd,

However loud

The crashing feet,

Hear our hearts’ beat.

Together we walk separate ways,

Those summer days

Not meant to last,

Just so much past.

I used to do lots of things I didn't much enjoy. Now I am officially a writer. It's what I always wanted to be.

    1. It looks to me like a particular moment in time that the artist has caught, rather than a peaceful study. I wonder what he is looking at that is so important, and what she is thinking about.
