Sun failing

camille_pissarro_gelee_blanche_hoarfrost_1873

The summer sun is failing,

Gold disc paling,

Leaf remembers,

Glowing embers.

Autumn wind is sighing,

Summer dying,

Wise blackbird dines,

Among the vines.

And will you leave me with the sun,

Our love dance done,

Or let love grow

Through winter snow?

I used to do lots of things I didn't much enjoy. Now I am officially a writer. It's what I always wanted to be.
