Haiku challenge: Sunshine & Clouds

For Ronovan’s haiku challenge.

Light and shadow play

on sunny hills, cloud-dappled,

autumn’s first brush strokes

High tides rise and ebb,

clouds race in stiff autumn winds,

sunshine on wavelets.

In the sky, a cloud,

behind the cloud, the sun turns

summer to autumn.
