Crushed beauty

The oracle is in a black mood today.

Beneath the skin of the sea,screen-shot-2017-02-04-at-14-21-48

shadows whisper,

black rocks chant,

and the sky sweats

purple rain,

spring soars

on bloody pink wings,

death moans in the wind.

Crushed beauty,

blue as summer sky

lies beneath rose petals

in the shadow of the moon.

Language of diamonds,

tongue of rock,

shining with cool light

through a thousand storms,

whispers mist music

to still our blood red dreams.

I used to do lots of things I didn't much enjoy. Now I am officially a writer. It's what I always wanted to be.
