I raise the glass, bee-sip with tongue,

Yet hesitate to take a drink,

To drain the years, with wine too young.

I raise the glass, bee-sip with tongue,

And taste a thousand songs all sung,

I hover bee-like on the brink.

I raise the glass, bee-sip with tongue,

To drain the years with wine, too young.
