Bliss

A blissful quadrille for the dverse prompt.

looking south and west

Knowing that this meadow,

rippled with sun and flowers,

that these trees higher than I can climb,

wider than I can reach,

no one will harm.

That all this beauty sleeps in the palm of my hand,

nothing is closer to bliss

than this.

I used to do lots of things I didn't much enjoy. Now I am officially a writer. It's what I always wanted to be.

  1. That moment when we stand in silence and contemplate nature around us….oh yes….bliss is here within your words and within this place you describe for us. Beautifully done.
