These dark days

Kat Myrman drew this form, the rondelet to my attention and I thought I’d give it a whirl. I find that I already have written rondelets, but had forgotten.

These dark days fill

even the open fields with night.

These dark days fill

the shadows full with winter spill,

hoar-frosty fur on berries till

spring hopes burst and, with golden light,

these dark days fill.

I used to do lots of things I didn't much enjoy. Now I am officially a writer. It's what I always wanted to be.

  1. Incredible! Actually, I just uploaded a ‘Rondelet’ of my own onto my blog. It’s linked below. I’d love it if you would read over it and leave me some tips on how to improve. With your incredible writing technique, I’m sure I can learn a lot from you. Thanks!
