A haiku for Ronovan’s challenge. Since bold and daring are synonyms, I’ve made the same word do for both prompt words.
About the house prowls
fox, winter in his belly—
hunger makes him bold.

Awesome haiku, Jane.
Thank you, Neel 🙂
I love this. Especially the idea of someone having a fox-winter in his belly. That is gorgeous. That’s like hunger x a thousand.
Thanks Shawna! I’m glad you like it.
Here you go darling, in missing you!
Trudging the floor prowls
a mouse, small aching belly,
loving crumbs i’m toad…
Even mice have to live. Thank you 🙂
One Mrs. Nature, tiny creatures..
Mrs Nature was looking after the owls and the foxes when she made mice.
Three great white owls…
I’d love to see those.
All i remember is a great white mother owl, protecting her three young… Once in a while i do see, one the young fly by, hunting!
A memory to treasure.

Indeed. No revolution on an empty stomach.
Or while the pubs are still open 🙂
Ow, chickens better watch out. A nice one Jane.
Thank you!
