Microfiction challenge

I’m just tossing this one out as something to give you creative people something to think about over the weekend. This very strange painting by Hugo Simberg has been sitting on my computer for weeks waiting for me to use it for something. I’d be interested to see if it inspires any freakish writing. I keep looking at in and wondering what on earth is going on. What do you think?

  1. You know, I was just looking at some of my old postcard fiction and thinking I should come up with my own prompts and do more. It may take me a few days, but this definitely inspires…(K)
