      1. The version I remember has Jack climbing the beanstalk to steal various precious objects from the giant, and when the giant follows him to try and get his property back, Jack chops down the beanstalk, the giant breaks his neck in the fall and we all cheer. Mad.

      1. An unpleasant trait that masquerades as roguish and loveable behaviour, the “everyman” fighting against ‘injustices’ meted out by by the system. The truth isn’t so black and white. Fairy tales are multilayered and facetted entities you could explore to your heart’s content…โ˜บ
