Frank has chosen another bird theme for this week’s haikai challenge. I can see this one is going to fly like last week’s ‘hawk’.

wise as time, dark harbinger—
winter will be long.

Has been, will be.
Still have hopes for spring, eventually…
It will come. Patience.
Temps started below 30 yesterday and ended up almost at 70 (F). Now it is raining and the Maple trees are budding. Still two months or so to go… Patience is not one of my middle names 🙂
I wouldn’t say no to 70°F. It hit that mark on Wednesday or Thursday but we’re back to a wintry 50° again. With mist.
I’ll take that 50 any day we’ve had below 30 and that’s not even with wind chill. I guess it’ll be a bouncy route… at least here in SE, PA (USA).
It’s never been down to freezing during the day here, but we’ve had several nights of frost. February could be chilly. Half way there 🙂
I hope not!
When I saw this prompt, I thought, “Jane is going to be doing another week of bird haiku!” 🙂
You could well be right 🙂
🙂
Fabulous 💜
Thank you!
