Tanka Tuesday: Spring search

Colleen Chesebro’s Tanka Tuesday challenge is to use synonyms for the words Bond and Seek.

Tie up the sky tight

with wind gusts, hawk swoops and watch

sunlight break the clouds.

I look for spring in damp earth,

among shooting daffodils.

I used to do lots of things I didn't much enjoy. Now I am officially a writer. It's what I always wanted to be.

      1. LOL! We’ve had maybe 4 inches of snow total. Strange weather. The magenta blood moon eclipse is going to bring many changes to the U. S. I fear. BTW, I loved the hawk. We have them here too. We love watching them. ❤

      2. ME too! I love them. We have these gigantic ravens that visit my house in the winter. We have fields all around us at night. Last spring, I could hear the baby coyotes yipping and a hawk screaming in the night. Sheer bliss! ❤
