Colleen Chesebro’s Tanka Tuesday challenge is to use synonyms for the words Bond and Seek.
Tie up the sky tight
with wind gusts, hawk swoops and watch
sunlight break the clouds.
I look for spring in damp earth,
among shooting daffodils.

Ah, the hawk again!
Yes, I’m sorry about that, but I do like watching this one 🙂
There is a joyousness to this one.
We’re about to nosedive into a week of cold, but I’m hoping that’s the end of it 🙂
I hope so!
🙂
Lovely. I’m ready for spring and we haven’t even had winter. LOL! ❤
No, they’ve said that this has been the mildest January since 1900. It’s been quite cold enough for me though!
LOL! We’ve had maybe 4 inches of snow total. Strange weather. The magenta blood moon eclipse is going to bring many changes to the U. S. I fear. BTW, I loved the hawk. We have them here too. We love watching them. ❤
World leaders as a bunch leave a lot to be desired. Give me birds any day 🙂
ME too! I love them. We have these gigantic ravens that visit my house in the winter. We have fields all around us at night. Last spring, I could hear the baby coyotes yipping and a hawk screaming in the night. Sheer bliss! ❤
