For Kat Myrman’s Twittering Tuesday, a 280 character story.

She picked up the crumpled sheet& looked around guiltily before smoothing it out, feeling like a voyeur. How awful, she thought, someone must be going through hell right now, &looked for a stone to hold down the shopping list in case the distraught owner came back looking for it.
Oh! Brilliant Jane! You gave me a good laugh with this one. Thank you! π
Without a list, my husband is helpless. This made me think of him when he’s left the shopping list on a stand on the market among the tomatoes and salades.
I can usually manage from memory. But on those occasions I donβt, I absolutely hate having to go back. Worse yet is when I remember on my way to the car and have to face the lines again for one item. π³
Those are the occasions when I choose to forget that I’ve remembered and go home without it.
I admit doing the same thing!
It’s never like it’s life or death.
So true! π
I love when you drop the unexpected. Nicely placed Jane.
Thanks Ellen π If/When my husband loses a shopping list on the market he will go back to every single stall, rummage through all the fruit and vegetables looking for it.
Oh dear mine would probably leave it on the side and get what every he fancies from the market. Heeehehe!
As long as he’s doing the cooking, that”s fine π
He is a very good cooker as I was once told… π
A good cooker is very useful π
I prefer a range myself … solid, reliable…. heats up nicely and a rather handsome addition to the kitchen
If only we had gas, I’d get one of those hunks in a flash π
*whispers* You may already have one… just hiding
I’m prepared to make do π
…The horror!
π It is for some.
Most thoughtful Jane and I must admit to kicking myself when i go shopping and realise I’ve left the list at home.
It’s a real feeling of helplessness. Since it’s always so finely honed with the meals already programmed, no list and I’m lost.
