offbeat words for you...
Just writing what's on my mind
It does seem agonizing this year. We have snow again, but at least it’s not sticking (yet). (K)
It’s definitely spring weather now, with sunny warm days alternating with hail and thundery showers. The fields are gradually turning into bog and the ditches are full of running water.
This is a good one Jane 💜
Thank you! I like the sound of this one too.
It flows Beautifully
🙂
Another good one. Here’s mine. They are not getting easier as one might expect, with practice. 🙂

Go on, you’re getting to be a pro.
haha…not without a bit of blood-letting each day! 😉
I have a few in advance for the days when it just won’t come out right.
I have a few, started, that still need tweaking…:)
I have a bin full of the ones I tweaked to death.
Oh…I have those too! Haha! Some will never bloom into florettes.
Maybe we could dry them and press them?
We could become hoarders of bad rhymes and dangling lines! 😊
That would be dangerous. They’d get in with the good rhymes and we wouldn’t be able to tell them apart.
Oh the horror! 😄
The poet’s nightmare. Where did I put my rhyming dictionary…?
I use Rhymezone online! I’d be lost without it!
I do sometimes though I’m always a bit dismayed at the small number of new words it gives.
That is true. I often need to plug in multiple rhyming words to get a good sampling.
I look up a word like say ‘tooth’ and get a load of compound words like saw tooth, wisdom tooth, sabre tooth which aren’t rhymes at all—it’s the same word!
Yes. That is a problem! 😊
🙂
Wow!
