Daily poem: Florescence 29

End of April, last day of the Florescence saga, tomorrow onto something new. I’m ending with one of my favourites in this form. I’ve enjoyed writing these little poems and will certainly come back to the Florescence.


By the brook, the thrush sings,

speckled song, soft brown wings,

spring’s many-splendored things—fledglings fly.
