Walk with me

Road home

Walk with me into the dusk

along the winding way,

where the birds are never silent,

and the crickets shrill away,

and I’ll show you what it means

to cast love upon the breeze,

to kiss the life that teems

beneath the shadows of the trees.

Walk with me and take my hand,

we’ll tread where nightfolk roam,

we’ll paint with dazzling blue the sky,

the waves that lead us home

and tread a rainbow strung on high,

to where the sun lies down to die.

I used to do lots of things I didn't much enjoy. Now I am officially a writer. It's what I always wanted to be.

      1. Thank you for asking Jane! At least strong storms are spared here. ***lol*** I hope you are doing well and wish you perseverance (against the storms). Have a nice Sunday! Michael

      2. It’s mothers’ day today and the children haven’t been able to get here because of a mud slide that’s blocked the train line since yesterday afternoon.
