    1. There is definitely some linking of minds here ๐Ÿ™‚ I agree about the ghost stuff. Maybe that’s why we find those kind of stories to easy to laugh offโ€”they don’t actually resonate anywhere.

      1. Yes, definitely mind links. ๐Ÿ™‚
And the ghost/horror stories that do scare me are the ones that either never show anything, so my imagination goes to work overtime, or they are about things that seem like they could happen.

      2. The scariest one I (n)ever saw was the Blair Witch Project. I heard a snippet from it on the radio and it scared the bejaysus out of me. I’d certainly never have the nerve to watch the film! It doesn’t need much suggestion.

      3. They say that’s what makes The Turn of the Screw so scary, but because it’s Henry James, I think it would be scarier with the prose severely edited ๐Ÿ™‚

      4. We watched it again a few years ago. ๐Ÿ™‚
There’s also a more recent Polish movie by the same title–in English anyway–that we also saw.
