I used to do lots of things I didn't much enjoy. Now I am officially a writer. It's what I always wanted to be.

  1. I had peony at my very first home… And learned then that ants are in partnership with the flower. Though ants are not needed for peony to bloom they will be present. I do not have peony now – but I know of friends who do. And I was able to take some photos – that maybe one day I can share. πŸ™‚

      1. I have some info about peony at my post for the prompt, including the myth about the peony needing ants; while they have a partnership – the peony can bloom without ants. Oh, the greenfly is a beautiful orchid πŸ™‚

    1. I know what you mean πŸ™‚ Most words are there is you’re prepared to dig for them, unless they begin with ‘k’ or ‘q’ or ‘v’β€”she’s not strong on those. I just think that if you have to dig and stitch together too much, those are not the words she wants you to use πŸ™‚

  2. A beautiful tanka Jane, I especially love ‘bright bee basins hum’ :o) xxx
