Haiku challenge: Choice & Faith

Tenuous, this one. The first two lines of the tanka are ‘choice’, the next three are ‘faith’. For Ronovan’s haiku challenge.

 

red plum or black sloe

hedgefull of fruit

gathering ripeness

these gems a feast in waiting

for the lean winter

    1. Thank you, Willow ๐Ÿ™‚ I liked Ronovan’s injunction not to assume the prompt words had anything to do with politics or religion. Of course that’s what I imagine most people (me included) would go for.
