Daily poem: Lune 11

We are all so tired of this wacky weather.

Sky rages, thunder

rocks the house, lightning blinds,

dog-fear hunkers down.

I used to do lots of things I didn't much enjoy. Now I am officially a writer. It's what I always wanted to be.

    1. The storm broke just before 11pm and it was a big one, right overhead. We’d closed all the shutters to keep the lightning out, but the thunder was just too close for him and he barked and barked. I had to sit with him and let him put his head under my wing 🙂 Trixie hid in the attic. Ninnie just wanted her supper.

    1. It has rained so much here husband has been getting up in the night to check the roof is still keeping it out! I’m stuck in writing for a change, taking it like a job with so many words to produce a day. It’s the only way to keep away from the prompts!
