Daily poem: Terza Rima stanza 22

The first draft of book three of my epic is finished! 114,000 words since June 5. I’m still reeling! This has been a real marathon for me, but I’m pleased I ran it.

The shadows soften angles, sounds the bark

of hunting fox and crickets’ ceaseless song,

so full of sounds, the silence, only hark.

I used to do lots of things I didn't much enjoy. Now I am officially a writer. It's what I always wanted to be.

  1. It has been some time…

i’ve lost yet another couple of computers, to the Vancouver Police Department, when they picked me up, when i got out of jail, they lost my pack…

    1. Sort of. The youngest moved all her stuff back in until she starts at university in September and we have another daughter staying for the week, so no time to do much except heave a sigh of relief 🙂

    1. Thank you! I feel as though I can relax a bit now. It’s all there (I’ve been over it again and checked) so it’s back to the beginning again to make sure each volume flows into the next.
