A winter moon tanka for Frank Tassone’s challenge.
moon hangs round
in a sky of rushing cloud
frost creeps through the grass
weaving pale furred blankets
cold as my summer-drained bones

My journey through photography
I like the image of the frost weaving blankets of frost. 🙂 Stay warm!
The sun warms things up very quickly thank goodness, but I could do without this wind!
Yes, I can deal with cold and sun, but the wind is something else!
It frightens me, the way it roars through the trees…
That scares me, too–especially since we’ve had trees come down!
The power lines here are so amateurish, draped from leaning wooden poles and there are huge trees along each one. So many trees could bring the lines down.
Scary!
Just a bit.
