Long live wild secrets

So different to last week’s poems. I needed this breath of spring.

Long liveScreen Shot 2018-12-15 at 12.01.09 wild secrets,

lips that kiss and perfumed air.

Trees breathe the magic of life,

flowering like the words

peace and beauty.

We wake, surrounded

by the ocean sky—

blue joy-bringer.

summer sky

and water running,

wind in our faces,

singing like roses bloom,

heady with sun.

On days like this,

dreams live forever.

I used to do lots of things I didn't much enjoy. Now I am officially a writer. It's what I always wanted to be.

  1. Beautiful images–and yes, so different from last week. I love “Trees breathe the magic of life,” and the final two lines. Of course I had to consult with her first before I could read yours. 🙂
