For Frank Tassone’s haikai challenge.
wood stove roars red
and tongued heat licks the walls
on the pond ice cracks
night hush falls
stars quiver in the still cold
a burning log sighs
morning breaks
still as the white-furred rushes
by the frozen pond
A very romantic Haiku, Jane! Love it very much, but i dont look out of our windows. Since today 5 am its snowing. Horrible! Michael
With a bit of luck, tonight is the end of the three day cold spell and the last night with negative temperatures for the foreseeable future. Sorry to hear about the snow 😦
You are blessed! Otherwise i am not wondering about in the South of France. Here its Bavarian Siberia, and like the people the weather is equivalent. 🙂 Best wishes, Michael
Thanks Michael. I hope your spring comes soon.
You too, Jane! The first step is done here. We got sun. 🙂 Have a nice day! Best wishes, Michael
Lucky you!
🙂 The coldness is still alive! 🙂
It is everywhere, I’m afraid. Even at midsummer.
🙂

Brr! You’ve caught the cold with these!
I’m hoping for different experiences soon 🙂
