  1. Well done — and inspired me to dip my toe into the history of the land my twice-great-grandparents left. When I was in Ireland in 2014, I learned just how still alive the tension is . . .

    1. I know he’s been rehabilitated (sort of) but couldn’t he have given the Irish people something better to hanker after than a cabin with a turf fire and a priest in the cupboard?
