trills whistles fills throats with song

buds with white blossom

unfurl flags leaf green swelling

from hidden roots sweet sap drips

  1. “fits and starts” is a good fit. 😉
    As our current cold snap ends, maybe I’ll finally see some added life in those bulbs that broke the surface of my garden more than 3 weeks ago.

      1. So far today we’ve had bright, sunny and warm, cloudy, wild wind, rain and hailstorm, and now we’re back to bright sunshine and a light breeze. Fun.
