Just writing what's on my mind
I really like this.
We’ve had skies looking like that lately, too. ๐
Thank you ๐ The photo hasn’t reproduced too well in the post and you can’t see the contrast between the shadows, the clouds and the almost luminous blossom. It was really striking.
I imagine it was. The photo hints at it, at least. ๐
Shame I can’t post a bigger version.
When we get that transporter thing worked out, and I come for a visit, I’ll get to see it. ๐
You’ll have a window of about five days. The blossom’s already blowing away and the leaves are coming out ๐
๐
Once in a blue moon we get a sky/land like that. The daylight has to be just right for things to glow “monocrhome.” Perfect poem for the image.
Thank you! That white blossom looks ghostly in certain half-lights. Did. It’s finishing now and the new leaves are giving the plum trees a green sheen.
It’s cold again here, but I can still feel the tilting. (K)
It always happens, burst, bang or whimper.

Thank you, Frank ๐
My pleasure ๐

I like that “blossom monochrome”, one of those phrases that pulls the reader back for a second ….third…etc…look.
Thank you. It was a very strange light effect that doesn’t come out in the photo unfortunately. The blossom seemed luminous.
