Adieu

Notre Dame de Paris est une partie de moi comme de toutes et tous qui sont ou ont été parisien/nes. J’allais écrire quelque chose, j’ouvre le doc et trouve cette poignée de mots. Hasard ? Prémonition ? Je n’ai pas de souvenir de les avoir écrit.

 

Ce soir ça brule

mais il y a des étoiles

pour tout le monde quand-même

et loin dans la mare les rainettes

commencent à chanter.

    1. I have a doc where I jot down bits of French poetry. I opened it to write something and the words at the top of the page where these. Ce soir ça brûle. How horribly premonitory.

    1. We all are. The believers are talking about miracles now, the parts that haven’t been destroyed. Miracle? If you can perform miracles to save the organ, why let all the rest burn?
