Painting by Krzyżanowski.1024px-Krzyżanowski_Clouds

This day of tempête

sunlight is stretched pale and taut across the sky

the white warp and weft showing through the blue.

Behind, shoals of stars wait their turn

to shipwreck my nights

on their sharp shards

of razorlight.
