Just another blog of random thoughts.

It was raining a lot last week where I’m from, so it was a timely read. I really liked the last line of it.
Thanks. We need the rain, though by June, I’d like to see a bit more sun.
You’re welcome. Rain is certainly fine, but I don’t blame you for wanting the sun. We’ve been getting some of the sun and warm temperatures over here as of recently. At least it beats the two days of snow we got in April. UGGH!
May was dull and wet, June is dull and wet, but we’re supposed to be in for record heat again this summer. Snow in April is okay if you live in the mountains or the Arctic Circle, otherwise…
Sorry to hear about the dull months you had. Yeah, I’m certainly not near the Arctic Circle. Even by Midwest standards, it’s rare to get snow in April especially when it ended up being 6 inches on those days before going back up to the 50s Fahrenheit the next day. So bizarre…
The climate is fighting back. The shame is, when it gets rid of us, we’ll take everything else with us.
Yeah, and I’m starting to notice more of it with the insane weather. There has been severe flooding in the Midwest and the South recently. Even though it didn’t affect were I’m from, I do get concerned because there are tons of farmlands dealing with crops that have been damaged, so this could affect multiple food sources that are domestic and for importing.
Well done, Jane. We had similar thoughts.
Thank you!
Very creative! Here is mine: https://wordpress.com/post/katb8587.wordpress.com/15967
Thank you 🙂
Gorgeous image & verse – can feel the torrents plunging into the pond; but esp love the last line,
“rain heals drought-cracked earth”
Thank you!
Loving it! And the fantastic art to go with your poem!
Thanks Lizl 🙂 I love the light in that painting.
