A tanka for Colleen’s return to the land of the living blog 🙂

Painting by Edvard Munch.

I used to do lots of things I didn't much enjoy. Now I am officially a writer. It's what I always wanted to be.

    1. It’s a weird sort of painting, I think. A sun all in fractured bits and pieces. It’s not brilliant light; there are a lot of dark patches in it, and the light looks meshed up to me as though it’s caught in a net. Mind you, it was Munch who painted it.

  1. I agree with Michael. As I read his name..I thought, oh boy. Then I saw it wasn’t bad at all. Maybe it’s your poem that gave it such light:) Nicely done.
