Haikai sequence: Twisted & Cross

For Ronovan’s weekly challenge. This prompt has an oddly Satanic feel to it…

birds criss-cross

a windy sky

hurrying to gather

the last of summer

from bent flower heads

roads cross

where tree boughs bend a squirrel

takes the left fork

morning glory

twists about the roses

blending blooms
