wind pours

a cascade

from the ocean sky

sweeping leaves birds and branches

in its flood.

I used to do lots of things I didn't much enjoy. Now I am officially a writer. It's what I always wanted to be.

  1. This poem reminds me of my days living off the South Georgia coast, especially when the sun was near absent. The ocean and sky seemed one, seagulls and dolphins sharing the same space. Love the poem and the art!
