and the raging of the birds

only gloom where light should be

    1. The little song birds that come to the feeder twitter away happily enough but the big birds with hoarse voices (plus chickens) are making protest noises. I’d like to see a bit of sun too!

    1. Steady. At least it isn’t as heavy as it was. It’s running away downhill and not trying to get indoors.
It’s the big birds that seem angry. Maybe because they are getting blown about in the wind. The little birds are just pecking away as usual.

  1. Such apt words, gloom and grey-green. I’m only sorry they refer to your current reality. You’re bearing up, thankfully. I hope the big birds end up okay. Glad for the status of the small birds.

    1. The big birds seem to have trouble with the wind. It’s wild and when it gets under their broad wings they sometimes get flipped over and pushed in the wrong direction.
I wish it would let up too.
