day and night in balance

light and dark

a barn owl screams

pale ghost of red raw life

beneath cold stars

    1. It terrified Trixie last night. It was just outslde in the meadow. I opened the window and Ninnie immediately jumped on the windowsill to have a look. They have a bloodcurdling shriek. And they don’t like cats.

      1. It stayed out there for a while screeching. Then the other kind, the whooo whooo kind started…
The moon wasn’t up unfortunately. They are a tremendous sight by moonlight.
