I used to do lots of things I didn't much enjoy. Now I am officially a writer. It's what I always wanted to be.

      1. Here too. I think to Warzawa we have near 400 kilometers. Here, we are somewhere in the nothing, but geographically – with the actual 28 member states – in the middle of (political) Europe. Cant be a better statement for the EU. Lol

      2. In the Lot-et-Garonne. Lille is in the north not too far from the frontier but we’re still quite a way from the frontier with Spain. France is quite a big country.

    1. Husband has acquired dozens of offshoots of the bay tree in our old house. They are waiting to join the regiment of oaks, alders, hornbeams and poplars he has already planted along the lane.

  1. spring breeze

Has me thinking of the right kind of warmth. The kind that easily, if gradually, blows winter away. Trees waiting for homes. I guess soon they’ll have them.

I hope you and yours are safe and well.

    1. Thank you. Yes, we’re okay thanks. Son thinks he might have got/had the corona virus, but he’s over it now if it was.
The bay trees should find a place in the hedge husband is planting to replace the one that was ripped out for an obscure reason after the death of the previous owner.
