Time goes

I have a poem in the Ekphrastic Review (first one of the published responses) and so does Merril! You can read them both here.

I used to do lots of things I didn't much enjoy. Now I am officially a writer. It's what I always wanted to be.

    1. Thank you. I usually send poems to Ekphrastic, and after a long run of rejections, I’ve had a run of acceptances.
it’s VV that has only published prose of mine. Having said that, I sent a poem this month for the first time in an age, so we’ll see.

  1. Congratulations, Jane! I like all the sounds in this. (I can’t imagine why you’d be thinking water dripping). 😏. And the sense of time slipping away while they seem kind of stuck there–and things are beyond their control.

    1. This ‘damp’ weather has been going on quite a while now 🙂
I was thinking of how time moves at the same time for everyone, but we each think of it differently, some trying to hurry it along, others trying to slow it down, some not knowing how to fill it, and we all go the same way in the end.

      1. Yes, so true. And time seems to move differently at our different stages of life. And dreams–where it seems like hours can happen in seconds.
