Yellow haiku

The flower I had in mind was fleabane, (see image). Tansy sounds more poetic, but the colour is a slightly more acid yellow.

the slow light is long
low spreading the rich yellow
of tansy flowers

  1. Lovely. I agree that Tansy suits the mood of your haiku well. Fleabane is also poetic, but for a different style of poetry maybe as it allows for lots of rhymes and slant rhymes.
